Dear Jessica,
It gladens my heart watching you grow to becoming who I had raised you to be. It wasn't easy, but of a truth, I can tell you that the result is worth the suffering, and I shall never again be subjected to that level of having to live below my wants just to make sure you are okay.
Today I believe so much in you as my right hand child, my very strength to feel among, and to recover that which I have lost in the cost of raising you.
But, no one takes it all! You've only sailed through a phase, another has opened, and here, you are likely to be a total stranger, an alien. What you don't know, you don't know; and unless you are told, you are bound to misbehave.
At this level where my little efforts have propelled you, I can boldly say that to a very great extent, you have power, you have voice, you have decision. But you should also understand that- the days are evil.
Today, you have a good paying job, your own house, and you can always tell me you are in your house and I won't have to question you but to believe because I'm not there to justify your words. But note- "The level of power you command depends solely on the level of dominance of your world"
Today, I cannot stop you from jumping on man or men. But note- from the apex of success you have reached, if you should fall from such a peak, you will never like the very day you were born, it will be hard for mere mortals to console you, and guilt will definitely quarantine you in isolation camp.
Perhaps, we as your family will share and wear the shame but for few days, but I tell you, you will wear it for a lifetime. This is the phase you haven't attained or you overlook because of pleasure that is planning to destroy you.
He who wants to tame a dog will use a bone, and then he who wants to tame a woman will use the best of flattering words, and a pocket god(money). Not all women are moved by these, but are you among the few?
Today, you can lie to me and I will believe you because- to me, I raised a responsible child. But what if you have deviated? It will never because you are ignorant of the truth, but because you want to deviate. Reasons: well know to you. "He who deviates knows the principle(s)."
Beauty is deceptive, 'yes', it's vain. The last time I visited your social media handle, I intercepted a gorgeous damsel who do nothing online, and even offline than troubling the minds with her beauty. But be careful that this beauty leads you not into temptation. You are woman-like outside, but inside, you are a babe, and I won't blame God for that. Don't be deceive by your biological development.
"The time for marriage isn't against you." Never be faster than your shadow. What you've not held tight will surely slip away and the end thereof is disastrous.
Today, you decide whether to or not to- ...remember thy creator. But I tell you, " "never outgrow the very hands that hath made thee".
