A TOTAL SUBMISSION TO NATURE

sometimes ago, I was opportune to be  in a gathering aimed at settling a dispute between mothers and their kids. Having listened carefully to their own side of the story, well, it all resulted in a positive resolution.

But what actually happened? Well, something tiny, just a touch of misconception. A verbal tussle between the kids, and their mum took it the wrong way.

After they may have reached a denouement, I was moved to meet one of those kids. And I told him, my friend: mothers are one of the most loving creatures I have ever seen, they don't want to see their kid(s) sad or cry without getting to know the reason(s). And because it hurts you, it hurts them too, so they will use whatever means to erase that ugly memory, even if it will cause them to fight.

During my youth service under the umbrella of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC), I had other horrible experiences. In the particular locality where I served: My place of Primary Assignment(PPA), parents/community boys do come to school to fight the teachers for flogging their wards. I know that what I'm saying sounds somehow, and that some of us reading this will say: maybe it wasn't done in a correctable manner. Well, what you are saying may not be off point, but this is different. You would here something like: the flogging caused him to fall sick for two weeks, he could not eat; he could not even draw himself; he was just lying helplessly on bed; at least, instead of flogging him, you would have sent him home. 

That's not all. I have also seen kids(students) who will never listen to whatever you are teaching in class, they won't take part in any class activities, they will never carry out the given assignment, they will make the class uncondusive for you as a teacher. This person in question doesn't know how to read over even write her name correctly; she may not even come to school with books, and the day she tries to come with book, she won't have pen. But guess what? You dare not fail that child, else the mother who could not provide or didn't care if her daughter enters class or not would gather strength and go about the whole community, telling people how wicked teachers are, how they don't have human sympathy. This is how some mothers are, a very great number of them.

They want to see their kids playing the lead role in everything, they want to see their kids happy at all times, they don't want to see their nine months pain moody, they love their kids till they die. 

So for this cause, my friend, "Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." Never tell mum everything you hear because love will never allow her to overlook a good number of them, and these will always lead to trouble. Please don't get me wrong.

Now that's exactly what nature looks like.

Nature loves you so much that you are going to be on heat at the appointed time. Nature loves you so much that you are going to see everything that comes your way. Be it good, bad or ugly. Nature loves you so much that you are going to hear everything, I mean everything.

But do you really want to hear the truth about Nature? A total submission to nature is as bad as losing your position in the kingdom of God. It means selling your birthright. It means trampling on your relationship with God. It is as bad as being a reprobate ( a hardened sinner).

Now let's look at it this way: it is the characteristics of the eye to see; ear to hear, heart to be carried away by emotion..., the mind to think about everything. 

But, it is in your power to control them all, it's in your place to decide for them because if you do not decide for them, they will definitely decide for you and you shall one day lose everything you have ever laboured for, including the kingdom of God.

Brethren! God is sounding this to us today. "Never give way to nature because it will never stop loving you"
