THE PLACE OF A WOMAN IN MARRIAGE PROPOSAL





Relationship and marriage falls among the most trending topics today. People just want to hear what you have to say about relationships, about marriage, because there are so many marital issues and relationship breakdowns everywhere. So there are so many people out there who are so afraid of getting married because of what they've seen or heard their friends, colleagues, or even parents go through in their respective marriages.
 I have been approached with boiling and unanswered questions regarding the place of a woman or women, so to speak, in marriage proposal. So I thought it would be necessary to write about it. 

I have come across many women who entered into marriage, and just a year later, they thought they had never taken that step in the first place. Some of them I have been able to hear from said the man look different from the man they married years back. "He is not the man I thought he was". This is serious I guess, it came at the wrong time because a legal marriage had been instituted already. 

One of the women proceeded to say," he told me that God told him that I'm his wife, that he even had a confirmation in dream", this is serious.

 There is another problem here(a dream confirmation of a life partner). Well, we are not going to talk about this now. As the Lord will have His way, we shall address this dream misconception in our future post. 

 What is the place of a woman in marriage proposal? 
The place of a woman in marriage proposal is CONFIRMATION. Yes, you heard me. The place of a woman in marriage proposal is Confirmation. Now listen. A man can see whatever he wants to see; a man can hear whatever he wants to hear. In fact, let him keep hearing from God for all you care. But you know what? That's his business. You don't have business with him, you have business with God. If God so talked to him as he claimed, then let God tell you what He(God)discussed with him. Enough of this nonsense. 

A woman was meant to get down on her knees, bury her head between her legs and pray at all time. But to a man it's different. A man was meant to watch and pray at the same time. What this simply means is that: a man is supposed to pray and also use his eyes to see what the Lord is showing him. Don't forget that during this process, his thought may deceive him and he will come and tell you that you are the one because he already had you in mind before going to God. A woman is suppose to pray until he(the man) comes. 

It doesn't just end here. When the man comes and begin to tell you stories of how he saw God carrying you to him. It's in your place as a woman to return to God again and ask Him: father is it you? Did you carry me to this storyteller? Now, that's where the confirmation comes in. 

Note this. Men will always tell you stories, both true and false....

 Therefore, if you want to marry the right man, you have to PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens). Pray until God tells you something about that man. 

That is your place as a woman/ Lady in a marriage proposal.
